Jen worked with my 2 teenage girls and they always looked forward to their weekly lessons. Unfortunately we had to move recently but I would recommend Coleman Music to anyone of any age! She helped my older daughter improve her vocal performance and sight reading skills and she got both girls interested in piano. Jen moved them from completely clueless to advanced beginners in short amount of time. She runs a very professional studio, her fees are very reasonable, and she is a dedicated instructor.

Jen is a wonderful teacher. Her encouraging personality and light-hearted nature made for weekly lessons my tween/teen son looked forward to attending. Mrs. Jen is everything you could want in a music teacher!! She makes lessons so engaging and fun. My daughter loves taking piano with her, and she is now starting combination voice/piano lessons as well. She stops to practice and play something on the piano almost every time she walks by it....which is completely different than the reminders she needs for homework and to clean her room!! I am disappointed every day that I quit piano as a teenager, because I love music; however, I probably would have stayed with it if I had been fortunate enough to have a teacher like Mrs. Jen!!!

If you're looking for a piano/voice teacher, Mrs Jen is it!! She has been blessed with so many countless talents!!
My son, who has been taking lessons for about 6 months, loves coming each week to see Mrs Jen. She takes her time to make him feel comfortable in what he's learning. Occasionally he'll get a little anxious, but it doesn't faze her and she KNOWS how to turn him around. She is truly amazing!! Lessons with Mrs. Jen have become his happy place.

My daughter has been taking piano lessons with Jen for a couple of years now. Jen is an excellent teacher. Her lessons are fun and engaging. She is very thorough and patient, and she uses fun games to teach music theory. Natalie always looks forward to her lessons. There is a recital twice a year, and they usually have a theme. The kids look forward to choosing songs for the different themes. This fall the theme is Disney songs, which has been a favorite. I highly recommend Coleman Music Studio. With Jen’s education and experience, your child will not only learn piano or voice, but also gain a greater love for music.
